Voith Paper, a division of Voith Group, has delivered three paper machines to China-based Sun Paper.
The two medium-sized packaging paper machines PM 31 and the PM 32 with a wire width of 7.3m will be installed at the Sun Paper's facility in Zoucheng.
According to Voith, the machines operating at a speed of 1,200m per minute will be used to produce corrugated medium and testliner in a basis weight range of 90-250 g/m2 with a wire width of 7,300mm.
Designed for a wire width of 8,100mm, the third machine PM 29 will be installed at Yanzhou facility to produce graphic paper at an operating speed of 1,800m/min.
Voith Paper management board member Andreas Endters said the firm has observed an increasing demand for medium-sized machines, which offer paper producers with better solutions.
"Our machine concept is perfectly adjusted to the needs of this market and our customers benefit from resource- and cost-efficient machines with proven technology," Endters added.
Voith also provided MasterJet headbox, Tandem NipcoFlex shoe press and SpeedSizer film application unit, as well as first clothing and quality control system to Sun Paper.
Sun Paper, which has around 10,000 employees, produces around 3.5 million metric tons of paper annually.
