Both the engines are mated to a Brembo high-performance brake system and the magnetic ride control (MRC) suspension system that assists the sedan in maintaining stability on bumpy roads.

Shanghai GM president Ye Yongming said: "Our aim is to increase Cadillac sales to more than 100,000 units by 2015 and its share of the premium car segment to 10 percent by 2020."

Additionally, the company is planning to build an independent vehicle manufacturing facility and an experience center in China as well as manufacture at least one new Cadillac model every year over the next five years.
